Where do you call home, what is your business all about and what motivated you to become an instructor for concealed carry and home defense industry?
Speaker 3:First, dj Michael and DJ Tyler, thank you so much for your support for small businesses. You all are amazing. Hi, my name is Sonya Edwards and I operate my business in Aurora, colorado. What I do is provide training on how to use your weapon to protect yourself and perhaps your family. I help develop a personal and home protection plan. I teach self-defense firearms basics, shooting fundamentals. We go over gear and gadgets, the legal use of force, basic and advanced skills and violent encounters and the aftermath. Most importantly, I help you earn your right to carry your gun in Colorado. What motivated me to get involved in this business is through personal trauma I had experienced in the past. While I won't get into details because it is still very emotional, I decided to use that experience to empower others to take charge in their self defenses to better protect themselves and their family or home.
